Cadivus describes itself as "a property competition like no other". We're unsure why because it's not doing anything different from others that have taken this journey - and failed. That said, it's website is incredibly detailed and glossy with plenty of images. This makes the property on offer seem highly attractive.

Furniture & Fittings

The prize is a two bedroom, two bathroom first floor apartment in the South Kensington area of London. It's beautfully furnished and all furniture and fittings shown in the property pictures are included with the prize. Stamp Duty Land Tax, Legal Fees, One year’s Council Tax, One year’s Service Charge and One year’s utility bills are included too.

Entry to the competition costs £10 per ticket plus there is a £1 booking fee. After deciding to purchase a ticket you'll be required to answer a multiple choice question. A minimum of 300,000 tickets will need to be sold before the property is awarded. If insufficient tickets are sold then a cash prize is paid out. The draw is being conducted by PromoVeritas.

50% Of Total Funds

The cash prize will be paid out at a rate of "50% of the total value of the funds raised from all Entry Fees less the charity donation (1% of funds), booking fees, any applicable taxes and administrative and marketing expenses incurred by the Promoter". The website doesn't explain where the other half of this amount will go to.

Whilst Cadivus as a website and property looks amazing, entrants should see that the ticket price is £11 and not £10. They are advertising the competition with the line "a £10 ticket could be your chance to live like a millionaire". Reve House faced an ASA ruling for a similar issue when they failed to include their admin fee in social media adverts.
