It's Ireland yet again for another win a house competition. This time round Dawn Cusack is offering entrants the chance to win her end of terrace property. It's located in Limerick close to amenities such as Parkway Shopping Centre and the Childers Road Parkway Retail Park. It's also close to Limerick City Centre. No valuation is given so we've estimated it at around £300,000 and this may well be being generous. However the owners do say that the home has a rental potential of €1200 per month which may appeal to non-UK entrants.
How To Enter
Bizarrely the owner of this property has elected not to show images of the outside of the home. Instead there are a few images of the three bedroomed property that also includes open planned living and kitchen area, modern bathroom and low maintenance back yard and shed. There's also a private enclosed driveway and large front garden. Legal fees and taxes will be covered by the owner and these are mentioned in the text.
To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets cost £10 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. A donation of 5% will be made to Down Syndrome Ireland.
60,000 Ticket Sales
The promoter hopes to sell 60,000 tickets (total revenue £600,000) by mid November 2021 in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. This is a little bit different to house competitions run by individuals and should offer more assurance to entrants.
A lot of Ireland home competitions tend to do well and it's hard to predict how they will perform. We're unsure about this one because it does seem based on valuation that the profit from the ticket target is quite high. If this was a property in England then we'd say it had no chance. The location however may well appeal to enough entrants for it to conclude although a few shots of the actual property on offer would benefit everyone.
