Aamir Khan is hoping for a successful Raffall competition for his house. He is aiming to move in order to look after his seriously ill father. This raffle therefore aims to change Khan's family life and the lives of the winner who will have a mortgage free property. The property is Dewsbury although the exact location and area is not provided. No valuation of the property has been offered either. We have therefore estimated the property's value.

How To Enter The Competition

The property itself has three bedrooms, a large kitchen, rear and front gardens, garden shed and play room. There is land next to the house and attic space which could be used to expand. To give a flavour of the locality Khan has given details of it's distance from various amenities. For example the property is 5 minutes from train and bus stations plus there are 3 schools that are close by too. The area is described as a "peaceful place to live". Fees will be paid should the property be won in the competition.

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets only cost £5 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. As far as we're aware there will be no donations made to charity.

60,000 Ticket Sales

Khan hopes to sell just 60,000 tickets (total revenue £300,000) by the end of January 2021 in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. However there does seem to be a mixed message on this competition with respect to insufficient sales. The page claims that Khan will pay out 50% of any money received from Raffall should 100% of tickets not be sold.

If a Raffall competition fails then the promoter doesn't actually receive any money whatsoever from the competition. 75% of the monies goes direct to a winner and the remainder goes to Raffall. That aside this is another option to win a property - whether it'll succeed remains to be seen. We think the £5 price tag may be a little too high and although 60,000 tickets doesn't sound a lot - it is for the property. Given the reasons for Khan's desire to move we hope that he is successful with this competition.

Competition Closed

Unusually for a Raffall competition this one has closed early. According to the Raffall page "This competition has been reported for violating our terms. If you entered this competition your tickets will be deleted and your Raffall account credited". Enter Competition Here
