Houseagogo

Winner: Adam McGill

Launched: 5th November 2017 End Date: 5th May 2018

Location: Nunhead SE15 3BG

House Value: £300,000

Ticket Price: £2.15 (Free Entry Available)

Tickets Sold: Unknown

Platform:

Tickets for this competition cost £2.15 each. The 15p is an admin booking fee! As well as the flat, the prize includes Stamp Duty, Legal Fees, Council Tax and Buildings Insurance for 6 months. The flat is currently occupied with a tenant who pays £950 pcm.

Terms and conditions for the individual competition aren't easy to find on the website. However, via Facebook we have discovered that 200,000 tickets need to be sold by the closing date in order for the prize to be awarded. If not all the tickets are sold then a cash prize is awarded (total fees minus admin costs, although thse aren't stated). A donation to the charity MIND is also advertised. Houseagogo suggests that they already have another property to giveaway. This would be an £800,000 home in Penge, London. This will be available "as soon as the current competition's quota of tickets are sold". It's not clear how many tickets have been sold so far for the Studio Flat!

Insufficient tickets were sold so a cash prize has been awarded. According to a Facebook announcement, Adam McGill was the winner and he collected £20,000. We estimate that between 10,000 and 15,000 tickets were sold for this competition.
