Following on from Elite Competitions success with a win a house competition we've been wondering which raffle style site will chance their aim. Next to have a try are a site called Love Winning. Owned by Coventry based Love Winning Competitions Ltd this site gives entrants the chance to win cars, cash and lifestyle prizes. They seem relatively new to the raffle sector as their Facebook page was only created in September 2020. That said they do have winners on the impressive looking website. The top prize of course is the chance to win a house or an alternative cash prize.

How To Enter The Competition

The house in question appears to be a modern terraced style property which features 3 double bedrooms, kitchen, living room and ensuite bathroom. There's also an occasional room that could be used as a 4th bedroom, family bathroom, rear garden and allocated parking. The exact location is limited to Binley. According to the promoter the property was recently up for sale at £200,000. In addition to the property the winner will receive £5000 cash towards renovations plus stamp duty and conveyancing fees up to £1500 will be included. If you don't want to take the property - and all tickets sell - then the winner can choose to take a £185,000 cash sum.

To enter the competition you need to be registered and logged in at Love Winning. Once you've signed up then you just need to correctly answer a multiple choice question and purchase tickets to enter the draw. A free no purchase necessary route is available. To find those details click on the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the page. There you will find an address where you can send a maximum of one postal entry. Note that you must still register with the site if you wish to take this option. Whilst it's just one free entry via NPN you can purchase up to 100 tickets. 10% from every ticket sold will be donated to Free Radio Cash for Kids

165,000 Tickets

Love Winning aim to sell 165,000 tickets (£412,500 revenue) by the end of March 2021 (extended from January). If ticket sales haven't reached a pre-set minimum - which we don't what that number is exactly - then a 28 day extension is available. If not enough tickets are sold after the extension then a cash prize equating to "70% of the ticket revenue received for the competition minus the charitable donation will be awarded instead of the prize". To help create some virality around the competition entrants can share a unique link and earn entries into a £1000 monthly prize draw.

A three bedroomed property in Coventry may not have as much appear as a three million pound property in London, but the cash alternative is something which might spark interest in this particular competition. There does seem to be a bit of a large profit margin though and that's the one negative here. If all tickets sell then after 10% for charity and the property costs that leaves a nice - almost double your money six figure sum for the promoter. We suspect that there may be a minimum sales target but if that is the case it'd be nicer to know. It's also our view that if the property is valued at £200,000 then the cash sum should match that value. Other than that it'll be interesting to see how Love Winning fair with this competition.
