If you missed out on the last Salford property that was won on Raffall then you have another chance. Once again the owners of this home are heading for warmer climes and looking to start a new life in Australia. Maybe raffling your property should become a new element of Wanted Down Under? Details of the actual property are quite limited which is a frustration. The biggest clue with respect to location is that it's 5 minutes drive to Manchester City centre.

How To Enter

The property has three bedrooms and from the pictures looks like it's part of a small terrace or semi-detached. Downstairs there's a living room plus kitchen/diner. To the rear there's a garden with decked entertaining areas whilst there's parking space at the front. The property has lots of modcons such as Amazon Ring CCTV and Hive Heating control. That's about it although there are images of rooms and a video (which currently isn't working).

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets only cost 2 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. This competition is not supporting any charities.

200,000 Ticket Sales

The promoter hopes to sell 200,000 tickets (total revenue 400,000) by the end of January 2021 in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. From what we've seen of Raffall they've been good when it comes to paying out when property raffles have failed and when they have been successful.

As expected because other Raffall competitions have been successful then others in the same area follow suit (first Wakefield and now Salford). There's no reason why this competition can't succeed but the promoters will need to work hard to generate interest and ticket sales. It does seem that everyone trying to run a house competition wants to move to Australia.. do they all know something about staying in The UK that we don't?
