Here we go again! The Twenefour Brothers and Tramway Path are back for a sixth house prize draw. So far all five of their prize draws have sold well and winners have been created. Rivals like Raffle House must be wondering just how they do it. For their sixth promotion they've chosen an apartment in Grays, Essex. It's located close to the train station and "a short walk to Lakeside Shopping Centre". London is a 35 minute trip away by train. As usual the guys have given would-be entrants plenty of information about the property including a valuation of £300,000 (based on a valuation made by estate agents earlier this year).

About The Property

As with previous Tramway Path properties this is a decent looking prize. It is described as an "mmaculately presented family sized flat - situated on the fifth floor of a popular residential development". It has two double bedrooms, spacious open plan kitchen and living space area. Outside there's a private allocated parking space plus the winner will be able to enjoy views from their own balcony. The flat is leasehold and has 122 years remaining. Details about running costs can be found in the site's FAQ. These include a £450pa ground rent and a service charge of £1884 per annum. It's not clear if Tramway will cover these costs for the first twelve months. If you'd like to rent out the apartment then it's suggested you could realise an income of £1400 a month.

How To Enter The Competition

Tickets for the third Tramway Path competition cost just £2 each. To enter you need to answer a multiple choice question about the year that the first radio broadcast in Essex. You will not be told if the answer is right or wrong so you could potentially purchase a ticket with an incorrect answer. However Google is your friend and it's well worth checking your answer before parting with any money. Note that you do also need to be registered with Tramway Path in order to participate in this competition. According to the FAQ free entries are available and thankfully Tramway Path have included all the necessary info for those of you wanting to opt for this entry route.

180,000 Tickets

For this competition, Tramway Path aims to sell a minimum of 180,000 tickets (revenue £360,000) up to a maximum of 500,000 (revenue £1million) before the closing date of 27th May 2022 in order to giveaway the property as a prize. The terms don't indicate any suggestion of an extension to the closing date should insufficient tickets be sold. If the target isn't reached then the winner will be offered 70% of the ticket receipts instead. As far as we can see there's no mention of charity or donations with respect to this particular prize draw.

Our Verdict

Well what is there to say about Tramway Path that we've not already covered? They've come up with yet another attractive apartment that looks great for living in or using as a rental property. The ticket prize of £2 is and with few other options in the property raffle market we think it's worth a punt. Even more so as fully expect the property to go to completion as interest should be even higher than usual. This is because on April 7th Channel 4 will be broadcasting a documentary - My £2 Dream Home - on the boys and their house raffle journey. Hopefully we'll all get some insights into how Tramway Path have managed to be so successful when so many other platforms have been so bad. Enter Competition Here
