The Twenefour brothers success rate with house raffles is unprecedented and they're now hoping to continue their amazing streak of home winners with a festive giveaway. They aim to be giving away the keys to a two bedroom apartment in Whyteleafe, Surrey on Christmas Eve. If however they're not successful then there's a cash prize alternative - so either way it's going to be a Happy Christmas for someone. No value is given for the prize but there are properties in Whyteleafe Hill for sale which look similar to the property on offer. For example this two bedroom apartment is for sale at £285,000 - that's the valuation we're therefore going for until we know otherwise.

About The Property

As with previous Tramway Path properties this is a decent looking prize. It is described as a "magnificent two bedroom split level flat in purpose build residential development". It has a "newly fitted and extended kitchen" with one bedroom on the lower floor and another on the mezzanine floor. The flat is leasehold and has 122 years remaining. Outside there's a private allocated parking space at the rear. Details about costs can be found in the site's FAQ. These include a £300pa ground rent and a service charge of £1890 per annum. It's not clear if Tramway will cover these costs for the first twelve months. No details about possible rental income are provided.

How To Enter The Competition

Tickets for the third Tramway Path competition cost just £2 each. To enter you need to answer a multiple choice question about popular Christmas plants. You will not be told if the answer is right or wrong so you could potentially purchase a ticket with an incorrect answer. However Google is your friend and it's well worth checking your answer before parting with any money. Note that you do also need to be registered with Tramway Path in order to participate in this competition. According to the FAQ free entries are available and thankfully Tramway Path have included all the necessary info for those of you wanting to opt for this entry route.

200,000 Tickets

For this competition, Tramway Path aims to sell a minimum of 200,000 tickets (revenue £400,000) up to a maximum of 500,000 (revenue £1million) before the closing date of 23rd December 2021 in order to giveaway the property as a prize. The terms don't indicate any suggestion of an extension to the closing date should insufficient tickets be sold. If the target isn't reached then the winner will be offered 70% of the ticket receipts instead. A donation to Evelina London Children’s Hospital charity will be made although details of the amount and any reference to this donation in the terms are missing.

Our Verdict

Tramway Path have had incredible success to date with their raffles and there's no reason why that can't continue. A festive promotion could be perfect for them with £2 tickets making ideal "Secret Santa" or early "Stocking Filler" gifts. The only problem is you can't gift tickets to family or friends via the website. The only thing that might go against the Twenefour brothers this time round is the short turn around time. Can they shift enough tickets in just 39 days? And it's worth remembering they did have an extension for the three Bristol apartments. But if anyone can do it then it's these guys. They have the house raffle midas touch and whatever happens - property prize or not - someone will win a decent prize on Christms Eve thanks to Tramway Path. Enter Competition Here
