The owner of this Wakefield property is Joanna Rose. Obviously encouraged by the first Raffall house giveaway she's opted to try the same approach for her home. Whilst this is a noble idea we are scraping around for information. Although the property boasts a Man Cave we do not the location in Wakefield or the valuation of the house on offer. On a positive note this is the first Raffall competition that does mention legal costs and the transfer process.

How To Enter The Competition

Alongside the 5 bedrooms the property also includes kitchen, 2 reception rooms and a modern 3 piece family bathroom. Note that one bedroom has been converted to shower room so in essence this is a 4 bedroom property. It's situated on a corner plot and according to the seller it has just been fully landscaped with grey fencing and hot tub area. Many of the furnishings will come with the property and these include a bar, pool table, dart board in the Man Cave.

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets only cost £1 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. As far as we're aware this property competition is not making any donations to charity.

400,000 Ticket Sales

Joanna Rose hopes to sell 400,000 tickets (total revenue £400,000) before the end of December in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. This is a little bit different to house competitions run by individuals and should offer more assurance to entrants. The fact that the previous competition concluded within 4 weeks may also encourage entries.

The price point of this competition will attract entries and we wouldn't be surprised to see it complete. We love the fact that this is the first Raffall competition to mention the sale and legal process. However again we have the issue of no details on location and no valuation of the property. £1 might win you a house but it'd be nice to know where it is, how much it's worth and if there are issues. Remember house raffles tend to happen because properties are struggling to sell the conventional way. Enter Competition Here
