The owners of this particular property are in the process of relocating and getting married. They hope that they can sell their home of the last three years by the giveaway mechanic as opposed to more conventional means. On offer is a three floor home that's described as having plenty of character. A reasonable approximation of location - the village of Bowdon near Altrincham - and a valuation of £460,000 are given. This is great as too many Raffall promotions omit such simple details.

How To Enter

The house boasts three bedrooms including a large en-suite loft conversion. The bathroom is described as stunning whilst downstairs there's a large gallery style kitchen and dining area. The outside space looks inviting and includes a decked outdoor dining area. A video some small images of the rooms can be seen on the website. Unusually the winner of this competition must pay their own legal fees including stamp duty. However the owners will pay a £10,000 contribution towards these costs.

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets only cost £4 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. No donations will be made to charity as part of this competition.

350,000 Ticket Sales

The promoters of this competition aim to sell 350,000 tickets (total revenue £700,000) by the start of July 2021 in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. Note that if 100% of the tickets are not sold then the promoter receives nothing.

A couple hoping to get married and start a new life in a new home is a lovely story, but will this competition have a happy ending. The house is in a desirable area and may well attract interest but the ticket target is quite high. Even after Raffall fees a concluded competition would generate an extra £170,000 on top of the given valuation. Recent Raffall competitions have had mixed results but we can't think of one that has sold this many tickets either.
