Bounty Competitions are back with another property prize draw which will quite possibly be closed within less than a day of us writing the review. The location this time is Petershead and a quick Google image search on the property takes us to Greenacres Avenue where you could have purchased a very similar looking bungalow for around £220,500. According to the developer's own description it's a "newly built 3 bed “Forbes” semi-detached Claymore Home situated in the new ‘Greenacres’ development in Peterhead. Peterhead is situated within easy commuting distance of Aberdeen, the airport and surrounding Aberdeenshire areas". The property was also listed on Masson Glennie Estate Agents but is no longer available!

About The Property

The property is brand new three bedroom bungalow that's ready to move in to or rent out. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room whilst the bedroom 2 punctuates the living area and kitchen/diner on one side of the property. The property isn't furnished but it has carpets and appliances already in place. The front and rear are turfed plus there's a driveaway. However we don't think this property has a garage. To help you move in and get settled Bounty are including a £20,000 cash prize plus a holiday and some cash to donate to charity. However if owning property in the North East of Scotland isn't for you then Bounty are offering a £190,000 cash alternative should you want to take that. Note that this cash prize covers the whole property bundle of the house plus cash.

How To Enter The Competition

Entry to the prize draw is very easy. All you have to do is select your raffle ticket(s) and go on and purchase them. If you're not keen on trying to find your own lucky number then there is a lucky dip option. The latter is actually quite useful as it does save you wading through the lists of numbers trying to find one that appeals. Once you've picked your numbers then head to the checkout where you'll need to login/register and pay. Note that there are no questions to answer! If you're interested in playing but not necessarily paying then a no purchase necessary route is offered in the site's terms and conditions. But you'll need to be quick!

39000 Tickets

Bounty Competitions aim to sell 39000 tickets before the start of May 2024 in order to complete the draw. Assuming all tickets are sold at full price that equates to £390,000 revenue, which given the prize values on offer makes for a tidy profit. Kudos as ever for Bounty who seem to really know how to target their audience. The prize draw has only just kicked off - and we've managed to get our review in pretty quickly - but already the site reports 9000 sold (500 in the time we got to writing this bit)! There is a postal entry option for those of you who like to try "no purchase necessary" routes but we'd be surprised if this one is open long enough to write your postcard.

Our Verdict

The only thing worth commenting on Bounty Competitions' property prize draws is whether they'll break their own record again. This one is already shifting tickets pretty rapidly so it's quite possible that our review will be open and closed by the end of the weekend, even by Saturday. It is quite a remarkable feat though, especially when you consider how other platforms like Tramway Path and Raffle House operate. How much more kudos would these wannabe Omazes have if they could turn over property prizes in a similar fashion to Bounty - and also be as open and transparent. Another 100 tickets were sold in the time it's taken to get to this point of the review. Anyway get your guesses for when this one will close by posting in the comments below.
