Bounty Competitions are back in the Oldmeldrum area again with another brand new house up for grabs. Last time they set up one of these giveaways it had sold out within 24 hours so we're expecting the same again. On offer this time round is a brand new four bedroom house in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. Built by Claymore Homes you can review the development online. According to that site the location is 18 miles from Aberdeen with easy access via the Aberdeen Western Peripheral route. The type of property looks to be a Beauly and prices start at around £365,350. Follow the second link for a plan of the property.

About The Property

The property is brand new detached home with integral garage and ready to move in to. It comprises of four bedrooms with the main bedroom having an en-suite. Downstairs comprises a lounge, kitchen/dining area and a utility. The property isn't furnished but it has carpets and appliances already in place. The garden has turf and a patio area. To help you move in and get settled Bounty are including a £50,000 cash prize but there's no new car to park on the driveway as there isn't one included in this draw. However if owning property in the North East of Scotland isn't for you then Bounty are offering a £350,000 cash alternative should you want to take that. Note that this cash prize covers the whole property bundle of the house plus cash.

How To Enter The Competition

Entry to the prize draw is very easy. All you have to do is select your raffle ticket(s) and go on and purchase them. If you're not keen on trying to find your own lucky number then there is a lucky dip option. The latter is actually quite useful as it does save you wading through the lists of numbers trying to find one that appeals. Once you've picked your numbers then head to the checkout where you'll need to login/register and pay. Note that there are no questions to answer! If you're interested in playing but not necessarily paying then a no purchase necessary route is offered in the site's terms and conditions. But you'll need to be quick!

72000 Tickets

Bounty Competitions aim to sell 72000 tickets before the middle of April 2024 in order to complete the draw. Assuming all tickets are sold at full price that equates to £720,000 revenue, which given the prize values on offer makes for a tidy profit. Kudos as ever for Bounty who seem to really know how to target their audience. The prize draw has only just kicked off - and we've managed to get our review in pretty quickly - but already the site reports 7000 sold! There is a postal entry option for those of you who like to try "no purchase necessary" routes but we'd be surprised if this one is open long enough to write your postcard.

Our Verdict

There's not a lot to conclude with respect to this particular draw. We know Bounty can shift tickets and that they can do them fast. It'll be interesting to see whether this prize draw sells out in double quick time as the previous one did. However the ticket price is slightly higher and that may slow things down a little? Saying that 2000 tickets have been sold in the time it's taken us to put this very quick review togetehr. Anyway we're still going to comment on Bounty's lack of responsible play messaging. They do allow up to 300 entries per person (£3000 stake) which is expensive. For the market leader in pay to enter prize draws we do think they should be taking the lead with respect to safe play, exclusions or offer tools to players who may be spending above their means.
