Blink and you'll probably miss out on this latest win a house prize draw from Bounty Competitions. It launched at 10am on 28th June and 24hrs later it's already hit the 70% sales target, which is pretty incredible. Anyway for this particular draw it's back to their stimping ground of Aberdeenshire and more accurately Stoneywood. A quick Google search for the property takes us to the postcode of the property and interestingly according Aberdein Considine a similar (or the same we're not totally sure) was one of the most viewed properties during lockdown. When it was for sale then it was accepting offers over £445,000. That reduced slightly in 2022 (Aberdein Considine) and according to Zoopla it doesn't look as though No.1 actually got sold.

About The Property

The property is described as a detached luxury home. It comprises of four bedrooms with the main bedroom having an en-suite. Other features include a large kitchen/diner, living room, sunroom, walk in wardrobe and a large back garden. Furniture is included except nursery items) plus there are 2 brand new TVs. To help you move in and get settled Bounty are including a £10,000 cash prize but there's no new car to park on the driveway as there isn't one included in this draw. However if owning property in the North East of Scotland isn't for you then Bounty are offering a £375,000 cash alternative should you want to take that. Note that this cash prize covers the whole property bundle of the house plus cash.

How To Enter

Entry to the prize draw is very easy. All you have to do is select your raffle ticket(s) and go on and purchase them. If you're not keen on trying to find your own lucky number then there is a lucky dip option. The latter is actually quite useful as it does save you wading through the lists of numbers trying to find one that appeals. Once you've picked your numbers then head to the checkout where you'll need to login/register and pay. Note that there are no questions to answer! If you're interested in playing but not necessarily paying then a no purchase necessary route is offered in the site's terms and conditions. But you'll need to be quick!

73000 Tickets

Bounty Competitions aim to sell 73000 tickets before the middle of July 2024 in order to complete the draw. Assuming all tickets are sold at full price that equates to just under £730,000 revenue, which given the prize values on offer makes for a tidy profit. Kudos as ever for Bounty who seem to really know how to target their audience. The prize draw is only 24 hours old and as we said at the start ticket sales are around the 70% mark. It just shows that with a good property, decent price and willing buyers that things can move pretty quickly! There is a postal entry option for those of you who like to try "no purchase necessary" routes but we'd be surprised if this one is open long enough to write your postcard.

Our Verdict

We nearly missed this one so the review is a little rushed, however we're pretty sure that the links above take you to the property on offer. The biggest takeaway from those links is the price of property sales in the same area. We're guessing the prize property is valued higher than the cash alternative, but the cash alternative seems close to recent sales of properties on the same street. It's also intriguing to know why the property was for sale in 2021/22 but never sold (based on Zoopla data). Anyway the tickets are selling fast which is good to see - we're not sure if Bounty did a discount to kick things off, but we suspect that there won't be any offered as they reach an early conclusion.
