Win A Banbridge House

Tommy French Competitions are back with their third property prize draw. On offer this time around is a new build in the BT32 area of Belfast. Details of it's location on the website are given as The Edenbrook Development at BT32. If you want a little more information about the development and location then seek out the Edenbrook Development in Banbridge that's currently being built by Lotus Homes. The style of property on offer is The Finlay and the last available home in that style is listed at a purchase price of £276,950, which is the amount we've locked in for this particular review.

About The Property

The property is a semi detached four bedroom new build. Assuming that it is The Finlay design the four bedrooms are on the first floor along with a bathroom that has a corner style bath. The main bedroom has it's own en-suite. Downstairs there's a living room to the front of the home whilst a kitchen/diner is at the back. The property comes fully furnished. Outside you'll find a garden but as far as we can tell there's no garage but there's a driveaway adjacent to the home. According to Lotus Homes, "each house is fitted with 2KW Solar PV Panels, which can save you up to £600 per year". However if owning property in Northern Ireland isn't for you then Tommy French Competitions are offering a £200,000 cash alternative should you want to take that.

How To Enter

Entry to the prize draw is very easy. All you have to do select the number of tickets that you wish to purchase and answer a very simple multiple question. The question is about the football tournaments. Note that you're not told if the answer you've selected is correct so make sure you've chosen the right answer even though it's stupidly easy. If you're interested in entering the prize draw but not necessarily paying then a no purchase necessary route is offered in the site's terms and conditions. Details about how to enter via post you need to check out the terms and conditions. The terms section really could do with a few paragraph breaks!!

129999 Tickets

Tommy French Competitions aim to sell 129999 tickets before the end of July 2024 in order to complete the draw. Assuming all tickets are sold at full price that equates to just over £770,000 revenue. There are discounts though for bulk purchases! Keep an eye on social media for any discounts and also prize draws to win free tickets that may run during the promotion. For example Tommy is inviting people to visit the house on 5th July and they will get free tickets. The prize draw has been running for over 24 hours (at time of writing and sales were just under 5000. Apparently the early bird price will end at 5000 sales! As far as we know the house/cash alternative are guaranteed so they'll be a winner regardless of the number of ticket sales.

Our Verdict

Just when you think there will be lull in win a house competitions they pop up everywhere again. Elite, Kilted and now Tommy French have launched comps in the last few days (and Bounty launched and closed one). There's not much to comment on with this property. It looks ideal for a family but only if you're local to the Belfast area. For everyone else there's at least the £200,000 cash alternative to punt for. Ticket sales haven't been that rapid since launch so it'll be interesting to see what happens with the early bird price (£3.29) and how sales go if the full price of £5.99 is in play. We don't think this one is going to snowball so you have time to hold on and see how sales and ticket prices go over the next couple of weeks.
