The property includes 6 large double bedrooms, a ballroom, a drawing room, a dining room, large gardens and a contemporary kitchen. To enter the competition you needed to answer a multiple question about the style of the property. Donations were made to St Johns and NYA.
This was the first competition since 2008/9 that revitalised property raffles. The owner, Dunstan Low, created a lot of publicity for the promotion and that resulted in the successful completition of the competition. The aim was to sell 500,000 tickets!
Recent reports suggest that the winner has decided to rent out the property rather than move in. New tenants have already moved in!
