After a very successful property raffle earlier in the year, Bounty Competitions are doing it all again with another delightful looking property in Aberdeenshire. Don't worry if you don't fancy the location because the winner can always accept a cash alternative. The property on offer is called Cedral House and a Google search - plus a check of the cache - revels the property was up for sale on Aberdein Considine for offers over £365,000. We don't know whether the property buyers are Bounty Competitions but we wouldn't be too suprised if they'd purchased this property specifically to give it away. According to Bounty the location is somewhere between Mintlaw & Stuartfield in Aberdeenshire. It's worth checking out the link (if it works) as the images on the site do the property more justice.

About The Property

The property you can win is a four bedroom home with four bathrooms. It has an open plan kitchen / living room / dining room, large garden and composite decking. There's also a large private driveaway and a spacious looking double garage. Apparently there are views over rolling countryside, the River Ugie and towards Aden Country Park. Images of the property as it is now can be seen on Bounty's website. The property is currently vacant. All costs are included - for example LBTT & Solicitor fees will be paid for. To help the winner move in to their new home a £10,000 cash prize is also included. We'd like to see more details about the property though including any potential rentals that could be achieved.

How To Enter The Competition

Entry to the prize draw is very easy. All you have to do is select your raffle ticket(s) and go on and purchase them. If you're not keen on trying to find your own lucky number then there is a lucky dip option. The latter is actually quite useful as it does save you wading through the lists of numbers trying to find one that appeals. Once you've picked your numbers then head to the checkout where you'll need to login/register and pay. Note that there are no questions to answer! If you're interested then a no purchase necessary route is offered in the site's terms and conditions.

51999 Tickets

Bounty Competitions aim to sell 51,999 tickets before mid June in order to complete the draw. Assuming all tickets are sold at full price that equates to just under £520,000. There's no need to worry about what will happen if the competition doesn't sell enough tickets because we suspect that this will fly like it's predecessor. In fact that particular promotion closed in just over a week which is insane for house raffles. No charitable donations are being made by Bounty with respect to this draw, but the winner is given a further £10K to donate to a charity of their choosing.

Our Verdict

There's not really much to say about this raffle as we're fully expecting it to sell out long before our review settles down in some corner of the interweb. Bounty obviously are bouyed by their last success and have spent some time contemplating the choice for their next purchase. Definitely having the captive audience works and this is perhaps why the likes of Bounty and Tramway Path work whereas Raffle House and others struggle. Is the secret of property raffle success simply to build an audience that are happy to spend cash? Well yes, but good communication, transparency and good engagement also help. The only real question for this particular contest is just how long will it take to complete? Enter Competition Here
