If you'd like a new life in France as an owner of an exceptional property then this Raffall competition is for you. The farm is located between Mirande and Trie Sur Baise in the Gers although the exact details are limited. No details are given with respect to property valuation either. However what we do know is that this prize includes a period property alongside stables, a gite and a second adjoining house. We don't know about you but that sounds the perfect platform for a holiday let style business!

How To Enter The Competition

The main property has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is described as having an AGA electric range cooker, aga companion gas and electric with granite worktops. The second house has four bedrooms whilst the gite has one bedroom plus an american style kitchen. The grounds include 8 timber stables set in barns to give extra shelter for working. Given the size of the property on offer we're surprised the seller hasn't made more effort with respect to images and/or video. The description does say the property has been renovated but doesn't give details of any further works that may be required.

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets only cost £10 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. No charitable donations will be made in this competition.

90,000 Ticket Sales

The owner, Olivia Littler, aims to sell 50,000 tickets (total revenue £500,000) by February 2021 in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. Note that if 100% of the tickets are not sold then the promoter receives nothing.

This is a huge property that could potentially change someone's life for just a tenner. However overseas properties struggle to achieve enough ticket sales and the £10 ticket price may put off entrants. We think the owner could do with adding more images plus providing much more information about the property. These details could include running costs, income potential and any issues with UK residents purchasing French properties - for example would the winner need to go to France in order to complete the purchase.
