Anoter raffle style site and another property prize draw. That Prize Guy are based in Northern Ireland and this isn't their first win a house promotion. However it's the first one that we've managed to get listed before it sold out. On offer is a brand new home in Donaghadee, County Down, Northern Ireland. For those of you wondering where it is - it's located on the North East coast of Northern Ireland and it's about 18 miles east of Belfast. A quick Google search suggests to us that the property is from The Alnwick from Windsor Developments. According to this link the property on offer is worth £250,000 to £257,500. In terms of rental a similar looking property is currently listed at £995 per month (LJ Rentals).

The Property

The property being offered is a brand new three bedroom house. Details from That Prize Guy are pretty limited with absolutely nothing given in terms of information. The main bedroom has an en-suite whilst there's a bathroom joining bedrooms 2 and 3 on the top floor. Downstairs there's a living room plus a kitchen/diner. We don't whether the property comes fully furnished or whether the various taxes and legal fees are paid by That Prize Guy. However there's a £10,000 cash sum for the winner plus a 2022 Land Rover Defender that will have a pretty decent value attached to it. If the property, cash and car don't appeal but you still wish to enter then there's a £300,000 cash alternative on offer instead.

How To Enter The Competition

To enter the prize draw for the chance to win this new home in Northern Ireland you simply need to purchase your tickets from That Prize Guy. A simple question about who makes iPhones, iPads and Macbooks needs to be answered before you can purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased as singles and it seems the max you can purchase is 500. There are discounts should you opt to buy 3, 5 or 10 tickets. There is a free entry route offered for entrants who wish to take that option. Entry is via postcard and details about how to complete your entry are given on the website. Note that if you choose to enter via the NPN route then you do need to include the answer to the competition question.

80000 Tickets

That Prize Giys aim to sell a maximum of 80000 tickets at £6.99 (total revenue of £559,200 provided all tickets sold at max price) in just a few weeks with the draw concluding on the 13th October 2023. This date will be earlier if all tickets are sold. As with Kilted and Elite, the ticket price is reasonable and there are discounts on the site (you may also find discounts on Facebook as the promotion proceeds). At time of writing just over 26,000 tickets had been sold so there's a long way to go but these sales were pretty much within the first few days of the promotion which bodes well for a property winner. As far as we're aware there are no payments being made to charity for this particular draw.

Our Verdict

Just when it looks like our list of Win A House competitions is going to comprise only of Omaze then along come three new giveaways across very similar platforms. That Prize Guy aren't new to the process. They run a prize draw for the same house three times previously. The first two draws had a cash alternative whilst the third was for the property only. We expect that a similar chain of events might occur with this new property. One thing we'd like to see is a little more information on That Prize Guy's site as it does lack detail with respect to things such as is the property furnished and who's sorting the costs of the legalities.
