Bounty Competitions are the latest pay to enter prize draw site to return to the win a house sector. They've been posting on social media about a new prize draw and it's finally live. On offer this time round is a brand new three bedroom house in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. Built by Claymore Homes you can review the development online. According to that site the location is 18 miles from Aberdeen with easy access via the Aberdeen Western Peripheral route. The type of property looks to be a Deveron and prices start at around £290,000. Follow the second link for a plan of the property.

About The Property

The property is brand new semi-detached home with integral garage and ready to move in to. It comprises of three bedrooms with the main bedroom having an en-suite. Downstairs comprises a lounge, kitchen/dining area and a utility. The property does come furnished plus there are integrated appliances already added. The garden has turf and a patio area, but the overall furnishing package doesn't look as "high end" as some previous property prize draws. To help you move on though there's also a £20,000 cash prize. If having a new property and cash isn't enough for you then Bounty will also throw in a brand new VW Golf (2024 plate). However if owning property in the North East of Scotland isn't for you then Bounty are offering a £240,000 cash alternative should you want to take that. Note that this cash prize covers the car and £20K so you forgo everything for the money (a real hardship!!).

How To Enter The Competition

Entry to the prize draw is very easy. All you have to do is select your raffle ticket(s) and go on and purchase them. If you're not keen on trying to find your own lucky number then there is a lucky dip option. The latter is actually quite useful as it does save you wading through the lists of numbers trying to find one that appeals. Once you've picked your numbers then head to the checkout where you'll need to login/register and pay. Note that there are no questions to answer! If you're interested in playing but not necessarily paying then a no purchase necessary route is offered in the site's terms and conditions. But you'll need to be quick!

87000 Tickets

Bounty Competitions aim to sell 87000 tickets before the middle of May 2024 in order to complete the draw. Assuming all tickets are sold at full price that equates to just over £520,000 revenue, which given the prize values on offer makes for a tidy profit. Kudos as ever for Bounty who seem to really know how to target their audience. The prize draw has only just kicked off - and we've managed to get our review in pretty quickly - but already around 16000 tickets have sold in just over one hour!! We'd be very surprised if this particular promotion doesn't close within the week and well before the named closing date. If you're thinking of a postal entry don't hang around sending it off. This kind of sales speed is something that many other platforms can only dream of!

Our Verdict

It's fair to say that Bounty Competitions are amazing when it comes to their property prize draws. In the time it's taken us to put this review together around 1500 tickets were sold. We're guessing that the £6 ticket price is very attractive to their audience. The house itself looks nice, although we're not great fans of the furnishing (it might be the carpet). Anyway this draw will no doubt sell out before the expected closing date - but if you miss out you can always save your pennies for a £1million draw in April. One issue we'd like Bounty to consider is a responsible gambling message. They do allow up to 200 entries per person (£1200 stake) which is expensive. The site doesn't mention anything about safe play, exclusions or offer tools to players who may be spending above their means. Enter Competition Here
