Lord Roger Hickman was giving you the chance to win a £1million luxury flat that's near Harrods. Mrs C Doran of Widnes won a cash prize of over £25,000. 45% of entries were from the NPN route.

The original website for this competition was removed at the end of 2017. Apparently it gave a break down of the draft accounts, which would have given a clearer idea of the success of the promotion. As is, all we know is the above and the fact 8866 entries were received including 4019 free entries. A donation to Crisis was also made. All that's now left of the competition is it's Facebook page which contains a comment from the owner regarding trolls and abuse he's received since the promotion concluded. Whilst we sympathise with the Lord Hickman, removing the website so soon after the completion of the competition isn't helpful.

For transparency we believe that the website should have been left up, the accounts made public and information about how the winner was selected (e.g. live drawing). With some or all of this information now gone, it's perhaps not a surprise that people are questioning the validity of things via social media.

We anticipate that the Facebook page will be removed at some point.
