Usually most Raffall property competitions appear either on the site or on Google. Strangely this one for a two bedroom apartment in Preston slipped through the net. This may be because the host didn't undertake any promotion whatsoever and/or didn't pay to be a featured competition on Raffall. The simple result is that no one knows about the raffle and therefore doesn't buy any tickets. What this also demonstrates is that Raffall are only interested in listing competitions and hosts spending money to be featured.

How To Enter The Competition

The property itself is described as a "fully furnished two double bedroom top floor apartment, located in the heart of Preston town centre, situated close to local amenities". According to the owner it has a "smart lock and 2 lock boxes which makes an ideal property to let as a holiday let". No valuation is given but we've estimated it to be around £200,000. Not that it really matters given that the competition has closed!

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets only cost £2 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. As far as we're aware no charity donations are being made in this particular draw.

90,000 Ticket Sales

Keiran Craig-Jones aims to sell 150,000 tickets (total revenue £300,000) by the start of April 2021 in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. Note that if 100% of the tickets are not sold then the promoter receives nothing.

If you're going to put your property up as a prize then the most important thing to do is let people know. Hosts seem to fall into two categories on Raffall - the ones who go all in and really push for sales and the ones who just list their property and expect tickets to fly out. The former tend to be the ones that complete or create large cash prize winners. This one however falls into the no-promo category and will simply go down as another failure for the Raffall platform.
