Whilst dedicated property platform sites like Raffle House and Cloverhut screw up their brand loyalty, other sites are doing the exact opposite. Bounty Competitions have successfully created property winners with pay to enter prize draws that run for just a few weeks. They're back again with a house in Aberdeen as the prize but if that doesn't take your fancy then you can always opt for the cash prize alternative. Details about the property are quite extensive but one thing we don't accurately know is the location of the house. If someone can help out with the postcode/location that'd be great. We're assuming it's worth £170,000 because that's the cash alternative sum. One question that this does raise is what happens to the house if the winner chooses the cash? Will Bounty run the prize draw again?

About The Property

The property is three bedroom semi detached in Aberdeen. Downstairs is a living room plus kitchen which is fitted with an integrated dishwasher and fridge freezer. Both rooms lead out to a back garden which also boasts 3mx3m of decking plus electrical points. Upstairs are the three bedrooms including a master with en-suite. The property also has it's own garage and driveway. We've mentioned lack of details such as council tax in previous reviews and it's good to see Bounty have included this information. The new owners will look to pay £245 per month plus there's also a £15 maintenance fee for grounds. If you win and fancy renting out the home then Bounty suggest you could earn around £1000 a month before all fees, taxes etc etc.

How To Enter The Competition

Entry to the Bounty Competitions prize draw is very easy. All you have to do is select your raffle ticket(s) and go on and purchase them. If you're not keen on trying to find your own lucky number then there is a lucky dip option. The latter is actually quite useful as it does save you wading through the lists of numbers trying to find one that appeals. Once you've picked your numbers then head to the checkout where you'll need to login/register and pay. Note that there are no questions to answer! If you're interested then a no purchase necessary route is offered in the site's terms and conditions. To enter via this method you must first create a free account and then send a postcard stating which competition they would like to enter. A random ticket number will be allocated per postcard and emailed over confirmation of their ticket number.

64999 Tickets

Bounty Competitions aim to sell 64999 tickets before the start of November 2022 in order to complete the draw. Assuming all tickets are sold at full price that equates to just under £325,000. There's no need to worry about what will happen if the competition doesn't sell enough tickets because we suspect that this will sell out like it's predecessors. At time of writing over one third of the tickets had already be sold and that's after just a few hours. According to Facebook the prize will be drawn once all tickets have been sold so we suspect there may be options to extend.

Our Verdict

Given that there aren't too many property raffles around, plus that a few of the ones that are running are on platforms that - let's be frank now - suck, it's safe to understand why Bounty do well with their prize draws. OK a three bedroom semi in Aberdeen might not appeal to everyone but for around a fiver you have the chance to win £170,000 and can be safe in the knowledge that it's going to go the distance. There probably won't be any last minute cancellations or any rubbish extensions "because we've not sold enough tickets yet again". It's just a simple, straightforward, but your ticket and you might win a house giveaway. If the likes of Cloverhut, Raffle House and Froghopping could just figure out this is how it should work then imagine just what could be! If you are going to enter we suggest you get your tickets early as this one could well sell out in a week or so. Enter Competition Here
