The prize is a 6 bedroomed home with an outhouse that would be ideal as a gym. It has a luxury fitted kitchen with central island, a decked sun terrace and a stunning Japanese style water garden. It's located in the "highly sought after" area of Hadley Highstone, London.
250,000 Tickets To Be Sold
It costs £10 to enter the competition. This includes a non-refundable 25p admin charge. To enter you first answer a practice question, then pay your fee, then answer the actual qualifying question. Only entrants from England, Scotland and Wales may participate. No free entry route is offered.
The owners aim to sell 250,000 tickets (£2,437,500) to giveaway the property. If not enough tickets are sold then the closing date may be extended by up to 6 months. After that a cash prize will be awarded. This will be based on the total income minus 20% for "administrative plus marketing expenses".
Independent Ajudicator
No details are provided regarding the running costs of the property or any potential rental value. However, if the home is won then the prize does include "all legal fees for the transfer and council tax for a year". An independent ajudicator, Promoveritas, have been appointed to oversee the competition.
This competition has gone under our radar for several months, which makes us wonder how much coverage it's had to date. We expect to see a closing date extension. The ticket price is high but we like that an independent adjudicator is on board.
