A refurbished two bedroom house located just 10 minutes from the Lake District National Park is the prize on offer in this latest Raffall competition. For just £2.50 you could become a new home owner in Ulverston in 2021.

Recent Raffall additions have been for overseas properties so it's nice to be back on familiar ground. The prize in this competition is described as a charming, traditional stone fronted terrace property. It looks an ideal base for either moving to The Lake District or as a rental/holiday home. The current owners are looking to sell as they are returning from overseas and need a bigger property. In addition they're hoping the sale will help raise funds to support Neuroblastoma UK, a charity close to their hearts.

How To Enter

The house location is only given as Ulverston but the property package as a whole - which includes the home, £5000 cash and all legal costs - is valued as £200,000. Downstairs it has an open plan area with lounge, dining room and a newly fitted kitchen. Meanwhile upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom complete with free standing luxury path. Outside there's a small yard area whilst we're assuming parking is on road. A video of the property is on the competition page alongside a number of images - including a plan of both floors.

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets only cost £2.50 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. 5% of tickets sales goes directly to Neuroblastoma UK and this could total £40,000 if the competition completes.

120,000 Ticket Sales

The Wilkinson Family aim to sell 120,000 tickets (total revenue £300,000) by April 2021 in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. Note that if 100% of the tickets are not sold then the promoter receives nothing.

It's nice to see a house competition listed on Raffall that provides the entrant with plenty of detail. Additionally the owners have created a Facebook page so hopefully they will be actively promoting the competition and pushing those all important sales. The ticket sales target seems fairly reasonable too if you account for the charity donation and listing fees. We think this could do well as a holiday let option so it'd have been nice to get some idea of rental potential. Overall this competition ticks a lot of boxes and that may help it join the winners list in April 2021.
