France could be the location of your new home if you win this Raffall hosted by Guillaume Codron. The property is located in the commune of Vimines in France, 5km from the capital of the Savoy Chambery. However it's perfectly located for visits to Geneva, Annecy, and Lyon as well as enjoying the mountaints and countryside of France and Switzerland. The competition page gives no valuation but we're told by Codron that the property is worth 850,000 Euros. We've converted to pounds to give you a rough estimate.

How To Enter The Competition

The competition page on Raffall gives quite a lot of detail about the property on offer, although it's quite hard to decipher. For example we don't know how many bedrooms there are - we've gone for three but there could be more. However we do know that there's a wine cellar, large cellar, ski storage and possibly a gym with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Additionally the owner explains that there are parking lots for several vehicles and a large swimming pool. A video on the site shows the property but there are no other images included.

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets cost £2.50 each and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. As far as we're aware no donations are going to be made to good causes.

500,000 Ticket Sales

Guillaume Codron hopes to sell 500,000 tickets (total revenue £1.5million) to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. This should offer more assurance to entrants about the legitimacy of the promotion. Note that you can see the number of entrants only if you've purchased a ticket for yourself.

We are told that all transaction fees are included so the winner will have nothing to pay. There's also no need to travel to France to complete the sale. Whether the competition gets to that stage remains to be seen. To date the overseas property raffles haven't faired particular well. In this case the ticket price is reasonable but we suspect the sales target is on the high side. This prize is quite desirable but it's not featured on Raffall and hard to locate - a failure of Raffall rather than the property competition itself. Enter Competition Here
