Redline Automotive Ltd are the company behind Redline Competitions. They want to offer big competitions with low stakes. At time of writing they were showing 45 different competitions but just two active (cash prize and Renault Megane). The bulk of the prizes seem to be cash and cars. However tech goodies such as TVs and consoles have been offered as prizes in previous raffles. Note that the cars are second hand.
How To Enter
To enter simply select a competition and then answer the multiple choice question. Select the number of tickets you'd like to purchase before going on to complete the transaction. The cash competitions are typically £1.99 whilst you can pay up £9.95 or £14.95 for the car prizes. Redline do limit the number of entries per person in each competition. We think this is a responsible approach and something not often seen with raffle sites.
Each raffle has a fixed number of tickets that can be sold. If they are not all sold then Redline reserve the right to extend the closing date three times by up to 28 days per extension. However their competitions do seem to sell well and this means that they then guarantee the prize will be given away on a fixed closing date regardless of whether maximum ticket sales are reached. No purchase is needed to enter. Details of a postal route are explained in the terms and conditions.
According to Redline's website they've created 44 winners and given away £282,000 in prizes. The winners page announces the latest results although the information is limited. You need to go to their Facebook page to see the live draws and results. Redline use Google's random number generator for their draws. They also try and contact the winner there and then to deliver the good news.
Redline have over 44,000 followers on Facebook plus there's a private group of nearly 7000 followers. It may be worth joining that as the intro says "exclusive early access discounts to our latest competitions". The Redline website isn't as glossy as some of it's rivals and the winners page could have a lot more transparency in terms of linking up draws.
Raffle and skill competitions can be expensive and addictive. Only wager if you can afford to lose. Sites like Redline Competitions are not regulated in the same way as other UK gambling sites. Please play responsibly. begambleaware.org.
