Britain’s Got Talent Hula Hoops Competition

Posted on: April 13th, 2011 by Jason

Britain’s Got Talent returns this weekend and will see Amanda Holden, David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre sift through the good, the bad and the awful in their search for this year’s winner. If whilst watching you’re thinking “I can do better” but can’t wait until next year to showcase your hidden talents then head on over to Hula Hoops for their Britain’s Got Talent competition.

This is your chance to have a shot at the big time. Just make a short film showing off your talent and your love for Hula Hoops. That last bit is important – don’t just do a video of you being a great singer – be a great singer with or about Hula Hoops! See the video above for a bit of “inspiration”!

There’s one main prize on offer and that’s a £10,000 ‘Ticket to Stardom’. This includes a £10,000 cash prize plus advice for the winner on how to become a star. You’ll need to be quick though as entries need to be in by the end of April.

Our advice is get your entry in as soon as possible too – as it’s a voting competition (boo, hiss, etc). The good news is that the top 20 most voted for entries do then go on and get judged so hopefully that will mean the best entries have a shot of winning.

Should You Enter?

Well, at time of writing there are just 12 entries! That’s a 1/12 chance to win a £10,000 cash prize (who said low entry competitions don’t appear on Loquax?). If you don’t mind performing and can do it with Hula Hoops then you’ve got a pretty good chance with this one.

If the performance part of the competition isn’t for you then you can still get involved by voting as there are prizes to be won. There are prizes of tickets for the Britain’s Got Talent live shows on offer every week. You can vote daily too – up to 5 times! You can vote (and win prizes) up to May 14th.

Let’s hope that some Loquax User’s Have Got Talent – it’d be great to see some of you give this competition a go!
