If you’re feeling creative and fancy having a go at something different then why not try the latest competition from Innocent Drinks – The Innocent Mini Movies Competition. They want people to come up with a sequel to their Super Hero advert. All you need to do is create a mini movie in under 30 seconds and upload it to their Youtube page by April 17th. There are weekly prizes on offer too so don’t leave it too late.
The video above explains what you need to do in a nice simple fashion!
For those of you worried about voting competitions then this one does seem to have a reasonable balance to it. The weekly prizes will be determined by which video gets the most views from Monday lunchtime to Monday lunchtime (useful to note – don’t put your videos up too late in the week).
However, the overall prize will be judged by a panel of experts that includes Ben Wheatley, the guy who did the original advert. They’ll whittle the entries down to just five and then it goes back out to a public vote.
The weekly comp result has no bearing on things – which is good – although we’d rather see the overall winner picked by the panel, just to be on the safe side of things.
The winner will take home a £5000 cash prize and 2 tickets to the London Film Festival together with 2 nights stay in a 4* London hotel. The advert may also be used on the TV!
So another creative competition that we’d class as potentially low entry. All it needs is you to get involved and give it a try. The reason why some compers are successful is because they try these kind of competitions, so don’t sit back and leave it just for them.
Entries need to be in by 17th April 2011.
