J2O Use Youtube To Promote Competition On Facebook

We like the weird and unusual here at Loquax and the following video from J2O is most certainly that! It’s been created to promote their Facebook page and a competition to win tickets to see their Mixed Up Session with Calvin Harris (DJ set) and Michelle Williams on the 25th August! There’s not that much time to enter the competition but details can be found on J2O’s Facebook Page.

It’s most certainly a different way to advertise a competition and it’s actually quite refreshing to see (in part because it gives us content to add to the blog). You also have a reasonable chance of winning as at time of writing this blog J2O only had 69 fans – and assuming not all of them want to win tickets to a gig in London it could be a low entry competition!

The downside to it is they seem to have left it quite late to release the video to the public (uploaded to Youtube on 19th August) and with the gig on the 25th the end part of the video will be out of date soon. They’ve also not posted any competition details on the fans page – they just say “keep your eyes peeled”!

That aside, sit back and relax and enjoy Tainted Love by Soft Cell as it might have been performed on an East German version of Popstars.
