Swizzels Matlow Use Social Media For Brand New Competition

No sooner do we tell you about J2O using video to promote their competition then along comes another one. This time it’s Swizzels Matlow who, alongside their first ever official sweet tester Harry Wilsher, are unleashing four different videos as part of a new competition. The videos will be appearing via Twitter, Facebook, Bebo, hi5 and Friendster.

The idea is that you watch all four videos and then, when the competition opens, guess the sweet Harry is describing. The first video is shown above and as part of the competition there are 50 goody bags to people who retweet the video link. See Swizzels Matlow on twitter for more details. The rest of the videos will appear over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for them and then get ready to enter the competition.

The prizes for the main competition are pretty good. First prize is £250 of Argos vouchers, a Nintendo Wii and a Scooby Doo game. Second prize winners get theme park tickets whilst there’s a year of sweets on offer for the third place winner.

Worth noting is that Harry Wilsher won the opportunity to be sweet tester in another Swizzels Matlow competiton. It closed back in October 2008 and it did feature in the listings Loquax too!
