A4UAward 2010 Success for Loquax

A4UAward 2010 Success for Loquax

Affiliate marketing is an important part of Loquax’s day to day life. By partnering with various shops and services we can generate revenue by user’s actions such as making purchases online. It doesn’t cost you anything extra either, so it’s a great way for us to do things (well as long as you shop via our links) Our involvement in affiliate marketing has extended beyond just Loquax. We are part of the affiliate community over at affiliates4u and Jason also writes a blog at OneLittleDuck (guess how that got it’s name).

Casino/Gaming Affiliate Of The Year 2010

Each year there’s an awards ceremony, celebrating the great and the good in affiliate marketing. This year we put Loquax forward for casino/gaming affiliate of the year, as we all know that if you’re not in it you can’t win it. We were shortlisted in this category in 2008, but didn’t win! OneLittleDuck (OLD) was nominated and then shortlisted thanks to votes by community members for the best affiliate blog for the third successive year. We didn’t expect to win either!

Best Affiliate Blog 2010

However, the good news is that we didn’t just win one award – we won both awards. A very nervous and surprised Jason collected them at a black tie event at The Grosvenor Hotel in London on June 9th. The event included a champagne reception, three course meal and presentation by comedian Kevin Bridges. It were a tad bit posh! And yes! There were also a few celebratory drinks! As you’d expect we’re quite pleased with the recognition, especially when it comes at a special night in front of friends and peers within the industry. You can find out more about the awards at A4UAwards and also see a Book of the Night which includes some lovely comments about Loquax and OLD.
